Had a root canal then the tooth broke
I had a root canal done on one of my back molars.  The root canal was done about two months ago. I was to go back in for the crown so I only had a temp crown on. That came off a month latter. Since my appointment to go back was next month I did nothing about it. Now when I was eating something part of tooth with the root canal broke off. Now I have a hole in my tooth. My appoint is in three more days. The dentist was going to put the new crown on. What will he do now? Will I still get my crown?

Well it just depends if you broke any part of the tooth or not. Hopefully you only lost a part of the build up. The dentist can redo that and put on your new crown.
However, hard to say until you see the dentist three days is not too much longer to wait, though you do not want to run the risk of doing any more damage to the tooth. I would call the dental office and see if they advise you to come in sooner.

I guess it is a little to late to tell you that you should have gone back to the dentist when you temp crown first came off. Call you dentist now however and see if they want you to come in sooner then the three days.
If you are lucky all you need to have done is the tooth repacked and then the new crown put on.
